500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Welcome to Kailasa Yoga, where we offer an advanced-level of yoga teacher training program, RYT-500 hrs, to help you deepen your understanding of yoga, gain mastery over advanced asanas and become a skilled yoga teacher. Our program builds upon the foundation of RYT-200 hrs and RYT-300 hrs programs, providing a comprehensive study of yoga philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology, and practice.

Our RYT-500 hrs program is an eight-week long intensive course that is designed for experienced yoga practitioners and certified yoga teachers looking to upscale their practice and teaching to the next level. The program is held at our center in Haridwar, India, the birthplace of yoga, surrounded by the serene and peaceful beauty of nature.

Our program is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the science of yoga, and a deeper knowledge of traditional teachings of yoga. You will be learning and practicing Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga styles, with a focus on alignment, adjustment, sequencing, and the art of hands-on adjustments.

The 500 hr yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, comprises two levels. The foundational level and the advanced one, compiled together. We will help you to fulfil all the needs required to become a Registered Yoga Teacher. The course will cover Traditional Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga, Pranayama, meditation, mudras, mantras, bandhas, shatkarma kriyas, alignment, modifications, teaching skills, anatomy, and physiology in great detail.

You will also study Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, and Hatha Yoga Pradipika in the Yoga Alliance certified course. You will receive a Yoga Alliance certificate after successfully completing the course. The program is very comprehensive and requires dedication and attention from the prospective students. Those who want to complete the foundational level and advanced level in one go, this is the right course for such individuals.

Accommodation

The 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh is a residential course based at the ashram, which also includes accommodation and fooding. You can book dormitories, single rooms, or double rooms, based on your needs. All our rooms have the basic amenities, as suitable for a yoga student. From clean bed linen and pillows, to running water in the attached bathrooms, hygiene is taken very seriously at Kailasa Yoga.

Food

We offer Sattvic meals thrice a day which goes well with yoga practice and meditation. Our management will ensure that you eat light and feel healthy, throughout the yoga teacher training in Rishikesh. If you have any special dietary requirements like vegan meals or diabetic meals, you can inform us prior to your arrival, so that we can make all necessary arrangements.

Curriculum For 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course

At Kailasa Yoga School, we offer a flexible routine, depending on the needs of the batch. During the first two weeks, you will be practicing pranayama, shatkarma kriyas, Hatha Yoga asana, philosophy, and anatomy. Thereafter, in the preceding weeks, you will migrate into advanced asana practice, in-depth philosophical studies, adjustments, modifications, Ashtanga – Vinyasa yoga practice, and meditation. After you have completed the above schedule, you will learn about teaching methodology, mantra chanting, and will also be witness to group chanting and satsangs. This is a projected schedule, which can be changed given the needs of our students. On weekends, we also take our students for excursions to holy sites and temples.

Tuition And Refund Policy Refund Policy At Kailasa Yoga School

Admission Denials

An applicant who is denied admission into the program is entitled to a full refund of all money paid by said applicant.

Cancellations After Three (3) Days but Before Program Start Date

An applicant who submits written notice of cancellation of the program more than three (3) business days after signing the training agreement, but before the program begins, is entitled to a refund of all money paid less the $50 registration fee. The refund will be paid within thirty (30) days of receiving the notice of cancellation.

Three (3) Day Cancellation

An applicant who submits written notice of cancellation within three (3) business days after signing the training agreement is entitled to a refund of all money paid. The refund will be paid within thirty (30) days of receiving the notice of cancellation.

Refunds After the Program Start Date

There will be no refunds after the start date of the program. If the applicant withdraws from the program for any reason after it starts, the applicant will be responsible for paying the full tuition, regardless of any partial payments that have been made to date.
