If you have completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, you are someone who has been deemed to have completed the foundational training. The course is open to anyone who is seeking to enhance their self-practice or want to take up yoga as a career. However, it is the entry level course, which gives you a channel to apply at the top Registered Yoga Schools. 

Thousands of hours of practice is necessary thereafter, to give you finesse not just in your practice, but teaching skills as well. If you cannot establish your own practice, it can be a bit difficult to teach others. The 300 hour yoga teacher training comes in at this stage. When you teach students in a beginner’s yoga class, many queries will arise. And this course is well-equipped to handle those. So, today your journey does not end with 200 hrs of training, as you have the option to go for 300 hrs YTTC, and gain the RYT 500. 

We at Kailasa Yoga School have designed the course to help learners who are past the entry level, to deepen the existing knowledge. You mostly learn the fundamentals of the subjects covered. The 300 hrs advanced teacher training course will help you to learn advanced techniques and tips, which will enhance your teaching skills. In this course, more stress is laid on teaching techniques, practice, teaching methods, anatomy, physiology, philosophy, and general guidance. You will be doing more stringent Ashtanga Vinyasa or Flow Yoga classes, on and above Hatha Yoga.

Accommodation

The 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh is a residential course based at the ashram, which also includes accommodation and fooding. You can book dormitories, single rooms, or double rooms, based on your needs. All our rooms have the basic amenities, as suitable for a yoga student. From clean bed linen and pillows, to running water in the attached bathrooms, hygiene is taken very seriously at Kailasa Yoga.

Some of the inclusions in the single rooms and double-sharing rooms are:

Food

We offer Sattvic meals thrice a day which goes well with yoga practice and meditation. Our management will ensure that you eat light and feel healthy, throughout the yoga teacher training in Rishikesh. Classical Dance

We introduce classical dance to our students because it is absolutely a Yoga practice. Here we teach you the Ganesha Vandana Classical Dance whereby we do bhangi, which means you dance in such a way that you represent Ganesha in some of your gestures. You will feel yourself Divine and one’s mood changes completely by simply watching. This is the first time that we have included Dance in our Yoga curriculum and students are stimulated by the moves and we are sure that will be taken aback by it.

Ganga Beach Sadhna

Mantra Diksha

There will be an initiation ceremony to the Yoga Tradition on the first day of the course. After taking a shower every students have to dress white and join the opening ceremony. Our Pandit ji and Guru ji himself take you through the amazing experience. Gayatri initiation with the energy transmission called shaktipat will be given. From today one feel deeply connected to the yoga tradition.

Daily Schedule for

300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training In India

A typical schedule of the 300 hour yoga teacher training in India will include learning mantras, and Shatkarma cleansing techniques, early in the morning. Alternatively, you may be guided through Pranayama practices. Thereafter, you will be practicing asana. After breakfast, you will be getting into the theory sessions that include human anatomy, physiology, and Yoga Philosophy. Adjustments and variations classes with teaching methodology follows lunch. You will be getting into Flow Yoga mode after the lunch hour. The evenings are spent in meditation, satsangs and group musical soirees. This is the general schedule and it can be altered a bit, based on the needs of the batch.

Tuition And Refund Policy Refund Policy At Kailasa Yoga School

Admission Denials

An applicant who is denied admission into the program is entitled to a full refund of all money paid by said applicant.

Cancellations After Three (3) Days but Before Program Start Date

An applicant who submits written notice of cancellation of the program more than three (3) business days after signing the training agreement, but before the program begins, is entitled to a refund of all money paid less the $50 registration fee. The refund will be paid within thirty (30) days of receiving the notice of cancellation.

Three (3) Day Cancellation

An applicant who submits written notice of cancellation within three (3) business days after signing the training agreement is entitled to a refund of all money paid. The refund will be paid within thirty (30) days of receiving the notice of cancellation.

Refunds After the Program Start Date

There will be no refunds after the start date of the program. If the applicant withdraws from the program for any reason after it starts, the applicant will be responsible for paying the full tuition, regardless of any partial payments that have been made to date.

Can I volunteer for assistant teaching after completing the course?

Yes, we do provide volunteering opportunities.

Are there specific rules at the school?

Yes, you will be initiated into the school tradition and culture, on the first day, and you have to abide by the rules laid down. Additionally, you have to stick to Sattvic food and abstain from drinking or smoking, throughout the course.

What food will you serve to the students?

We serve three meals in a day. The menu includes whole grains, pulses, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds along with tea, and herbal concoctions. The meals are cooked in less oil, or may be blanched, and spiced just right for taste. You can specify early on, if you have any special dietary requirement like Vegan, gluten-free or diabetic meals. 

What personal items should I bring?

You must carry your personal toiletries, medicines, phone, and some extra cash for emergencies.

Yes, you can do that, and it usually gets approved in 15-30 days.
